Dr. John Francfort

Vascular Surgery Suffolk County | Laproscopic | Gallbladder | Colon

Dr. John Francfort completed his surgical training at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, Pa. He went on to specialty training in Vascular Surgery at Northwestern University, Chicago, Illinois. He became a faculty member and Assistant Professor of Surgery at Jefferson Medical College, Philadelphia, Pa. He is a past President of the Eastern Long Island Chapter of the American College of Surgeons. He is currently a Clinical Assistant Professor of Surgery at Stony Brook and NYCOM. He is Chairman of the Department of Surgery at Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center. He has dual board certification in General and Vascular Surgery. He performs a high volume of surgical cases including laparoscopic procedures, surgical oncology, breast, GI and colorectal care, gallbladder, venous laser surgery and endovascular arterial surgery.

Dr. John Simon

Dr. John Simon is a board certified surgeon, serving the community for over 25 years. In 1988 he joined a group that has been continuously practicing since 1909. Dr. Simon has performed over 1,000 colon surgeries, over 1.800 hernia procedures, over 1,000 laparoscopic gallbladder surgeries, and a broad range of abdominal procedures using both open and minimally invasive techniques. Dr. John Simon has served as a Department Chair in surgery and he served as a past President of the Suffolk County Medical Society and is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He is also the founder and President of the Long Island Laparoscopy Society. He is an adjunct clinical faculty at NYCOM and Clinical Assistant Professor of Hofstra School of Medicine.

Dr. Michael Sacca

Dr. Michael Sacca graduated from Brown University. He went on to complete his medical school training at Albany Medical College. He returned home and completed his Vascular Surgical training at Stony Brook University. He has been a member of Great South Bay Surgical Associates since 1998. He is board certified in both General and Vascular Surgery. He is currently the Chairman of the Surgical Peer Review Committee at Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center. He is also the Associate Director of Vascular Surgery at Southside Hospital. His dual board certification allows him to be proficient in complex general and vascular surgical procedures. These include laparoscopic and open GI surgery, endovascular and open arterial reconstruction. He also performs minimally invasive varicose vein procedures in the office.

Dr. Garri Pasklinsky

Vascular Surgery Suffolk County

Dr. Garri Pasklinsky completed his General Surgery and specialty training in Vascular Surgery at Stony Brook University Hospital. He is double board certified by the American College of Surgeons in general and vascular surgery. His area of interest is management of arterial and venous disease. He performs a variety of surgical cases including carotid surgery, open and endovascular abdominal aneurysm repairs, open and endovascular management of aortoiliac and peripheral arterial occlusive disease, hemodialysis access, venous laser surgery, and endovenous management of deep venous thrombosis.


Dr. John W. Hsu

Vascular Surgery Suffolk County | Hernia Surgery

Dr. John W. Hsu is originally from Kansas and received his medical degree at the University of Kansas. He then completed his surgical training at Truman Medical Center, a level I trauma center in Kansas City, Missouri. He went on to specialty training in Transplant Surgery at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Upon completion of the fellowship, he has practiced a wide breadth of General Surgery. His interests include gallbladder surgery, hernia surgery, GI surgery, endocrine surgery, hepatobiliary surgery, dialysis access surgery and treatment of varicose veins. He is a member of the American College of Surgeons, the American Society of Transplant Surgeons, and the Vascular Access Society of the Americas.

Dr. Nathan J. Thomas

Vascular Surgery Suffolk County | Hernia Surgery

Dr. Thomas started his medical career as an Air Force flight medic. He comes to us after completing undergraduate studies at Rutgers University and medical training at the University of Medicine and Dentistry in New Jersey. This was followed by General Surgery residency at St. Barnabas Hospital in the Bronx. Dr. Thomas is a General Surgeon with special interest in Laparoscopic Surgery, hernia and breast surgery.


Dr. Christine Park

Vascular Surgery Suffolk County | Laproscopic

Dr. Christine Park obtained her medical degree at the Renaissance School of Medicine at Stony Brook. She underwent three years of General Surgery training at Mount Sinai Beth Israel Medical Center in New York City, after which she dedicated two years to basic science research at the Yale School of Medicine. She subsequently completed her General Surgery training at Morristown Medical Center in New Jersey. Her interests include gallbladder, hernia, and GI surgery.
